On Thursday I helped hang work for UPfest - Urban Painting festival (http://www.upfest.co.uk/) and the event kicked off Friday night with a private view at the View Gallery. Since the 80s Bristol has had a large graffitti scene, with Banksy at the pinnacle and recognised in the mainstream art world.
Other events for upfest were down at the Tobacco Factory in Southville so today I took my camera down to see the 'graffitti offs' live music and the great creative vibe.
